Who we are

This website is operated by Inspeckt Food Solutions, a food safety and regulatory compliance consultancy based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Inspeckt Food Solutions. Contact Diptasree Chaudhuri at diptasree@inspecktfoods.in.

What this website is

The pages, articles, FSSAI updates and downloadable checklists on this site are general information about food safety and regulatory compliance in India. They are written carefully and kept current to the best of our ability.

They are not legal advice, and they are not advice about your specific product, premises or licence. Food regulations change, they apply differently depending on product category, process and scale, and a page written for a general audience cannot account for your situation. Do not treat anything here as a substitute for an engagement in which we review your actual facts.

No guaranteed outcome

Nothing on this site is a promise that a licence will be granted, that an inspection will be passed, that a label will be accepted, or that any particular regulatory outcome will follow. Those decisions rest with the relevant authority. We do not collect or pay government fees on your behalf.

Testing and laboratories

We do not operate a laboratory. Where testing is required, it is carried out by an accredited external laboratory. Our role is to determine what needs testing, arrange it, and review the report. Results, turnaround times and accreditation are the responsibility of the laboratory concerned.

Consultancy engagements are separate

Submitting the consultation form does not create a client relationship and does not oblige either of us to proceed. Paid work begins only under a separate written proposal or agreement setting out scope, fees and timelines. Where those terms differ from this page, the signed agreement governs.

The free checklist and other downloads

Material we make available at no charge is provided as is, for your own use within your business. You may use it internally and share it with your team. You may not resell it, publish it, or present it as your own work.

Newsletter and messages

If you give us your email address or phone number, you agree to receive the newsletter, the material you requested, and promotional messages about our services. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by writing to diptasree@inspecktfoods.in. How we handle that information is set out in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the site for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its data or its infrastructure
• Submit false information, or another person's details, through our forms
• Post comments that are unlawful, defamatory, abusive or misleading
• Scrape or copy the site systematically for republication

Comments are moderated. We may remove anything that breaches these terms, without notice.

Intellectual property

The text, design, illustrations, checklists and the Inspeckt name and logo belong to us or are used with permission. You may read, print and share pages for your own business use, and quote short extracts with attribution and a link. Republishing substantial parts without permission is not permitted.

Links to other sites

We link to FSSAI notifications and other external sources so you can read them at source. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or availability. A link is not an endorsement.

Availability

We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it, including free downloads, without notice.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on general information published on this site, including regulatory penalties, rejected consignments, reprinting costs or lost business. Information here is a starting point, not a compliance decision. Liability arising from paid consultancy work is governed by the agreement covering that work.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
